PEEWEE O'HARA is a
PHILSTAGE: Gawad Buhay Awardee (2008) for Tanghalang Pilipino's "Apples
from the Desert". Ms. Pewee has
taught English, Speech, and Theater for 23 years in Trinity University of Asia.
Ms. O’Hara is a pioneer of Tanghalang Pilipino's "Dalagang Bukid, Paglipas
ng Dilim, Taong Yungib ng Peking, Taga sa Panahon, Florante at Laura (Rock
Opera), Orpheus Descending, Insiang, Anatomiya ng Korupsyon, Walang Kukurap , among
other productions. For Virgin Labfest, she did "Doc Resurrecion, Gagamutin
Ang Bayan", "Elevator," "May Isa Pang Soap Opera" and
"Teroristang Labandera". For Dulaang UP, Peewee has appeared in
"As you Like it." Her recent work for television includes roles for
ABS-CBN like "Dahil May Isang Ikaw," "Immortal,"
"Maria La Del Barrio," "Dahil Sa Pag-ibig," and
"Annaliza."
